Al-Quran Sura Humaza
Al-Humazah is the 104th chapter of the Qur'an, with 9 āyāt or verses. Woe to
every backbiter, slanderer, who amasses wealth ˹greedily˺ and counts it
˹repeatedly˺, thinking that their wealth will make them immortal! Not at
all! Such a person will certainly be tossed into the Crusher. Position: Juzʼ 30

لِكُلِّ هُمَزَةٍ لُمَزَةٍ Woe to every scorner and mocker 104:2 الَّذِي جَمَعَ
مَالًا وَعَدَّدَهُ Who collects wealth and [continuously] counts it.
104:3 يَحْسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُ أَخْلَدَهُ He thinks that his wealth will make him
immortal. 104:4 كَلَّا ۖ لَيُنْبَذَنَّ فِي الْحُطَمَةِ No! He will surely be
thrown into the Crusher. 104:5 وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا الْحُطَمَةُ And what can make
you know what is the Crusher? 104:6 نَارُ اللَّهِ الْمُوقَدَةُ It is the fire of
Allah, [eternally] fueled, 104:7 الَّتِي تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى الْأَفْئِدَةِ Which
mounts directed at the hearts. 104:8 إِنَّهَا عَلَيْهِمْ مُؤْصَدَةٌ Indeed,
Hellfire will be closed down upon them 104:9 فِي عَمَدٍ مُمَدَّدَةٍ
